Na noite da última terça-feira (11), por volta das 20 horas, a BM de Canela foi acionada, via 190 por populares que teriam visualizado um indivíduo entrando em um matagal as margens da estrada do Chapadão levando uma moça, a qual foi rendida por uma faca.
A guarnição juntamente com o Pelotão de Operações Especiais (POE) realizaram buscas em uma plantação de pinus e localizaram os dois. A adolescente de 15 anos foi resgatada ilesa.
O autor de 19 anos era procurado da justiça, com dois mandados de prisão expedidos, sendo um por Tráfico de entorpecente pela Comarca de São Francisco de Paula e outro por Roubo pela comarca de Torres.
